Snowman Spectacular
Celebrate the holidays with a beloved winter tradition as the Snowman Spectacular returns December 4–13, 2026. The festivities begin with Frosty Fest on Friday, December 4, a free kick-off event designed for families and holiday lovers of all ages. This festive evening features food trucks, train rides, carnival games, holiday crafts, playful “snow,” Santa’s Workshop, and the first look at this year’s snowman displays.
Following Frosty Fest, stroll through a charming outdoor display of snowmen crafted by local businesses, organizations, and residents. Built from weather-resistant materials, these creative characters will be on display from December 4–13, 2026.
Visitors are invited to explore the displays and cast a vote for their favorite snowman. Awards will be presented for both People’s Choice and Judges’ Favorite, making every visit a chance to be part of the fun. Bundle up, bring the family, and experience the holiday spirit at the Snowman Spectacular!

Where to see the snowmen
The snowmen will be on display at the Calhoun Recreation Department along the paved path that connects the Black & Yellow playground and the large parking lot.
We encourage everyone to stop by and vote for their favorite. Prizes will be given to the People’s Choice and Judge’s Favorite award winners.
During the event, you can show your support for your favorite snowman for just $1 per vote. Submit your votes in person at the Gordon Chamber, the Calhoun Recreation Department, and at participating builders’ locations, during regular business hours. Voters may also use the QR code or the following link to vote by PayPal.
Please note: The QR code and link are the same for all snowmen. Voters will need to indicate their favorite snowman’s number in the comment section for their vote to be counted.
Proceeds from the vote will be divided between the Gordon County Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Calhoun Recreation Department, providing financial support to sustain and grow future Snowman Spectacular events.
